Special Service for Bishop Auckland Food Festival

Times:
First train departs Stanhope at 0900 and Bishop Auckland West at 1000. Last train departs Stanhope at 1615 and Bishop Auckland West at 1715. The full timetable for this weekend can be found below.

To coincide with the Bishop Auckland Food Festival weekend, the Weardale Railway will run timetabled services to Bishop Auckland for the first time in three years.
There is a special timetable operating this weekend using the Class 142 pacer. Residents of the dale will be able to travel to the food festival by rail, whilst visitors to the Food Festival can also visit Weardale. The Story Train, café and Trust shop will be open at Stanhope Station on both days.
