Trains, Gin and Cheese - what's not to love!
Following on from last year we are once again running our very popular Gin & Cheese train as we take you on a relaxed afternoon travelling through stunning Weardale.

We will be operating the Gin & Cheese train on Saturday 23rd August - a great way to enjoy the bank holiday! Due to popular demand, an extra date has now been added on Saturday 25th October.

Locally handcrafted gin will be provided from WL Distillery based in Durham as well as artisan cheese produced by Teesdale Cheesemakers.
​
The train departs Bishop Auckland at 1300. Enjoy the leisurely journey to Stanhope whilst tasting and learning about gin and cheese.​
The day lasts approximately 3 hours and is priced at £60 per person. Tickets can only be booked in multiples of 2 or 4.

The Gin & Cheese train will be hauled using Class 31 locomotives and our Mk3 coaches.
