Join us for a big Spring Clean on the Weardale Railway on Sunday 11th May 2025.

 

The train will leave Bishop Auckland West Station at 11.00am and head up to Stanhope with several stops along the way to collect litter.

Celebrating 200 years of Stockton & Darlington Railway we aim to collect 200 bags of litter with the help of the local community. 

​

Anyone wishing to join us from any of the stations along the line towards Bishop Auckland please tick the box at checkout and the train will stop to pick you up.

All equipment will be provided.

All participants must register for a FREE ticket to ride on this train.

​

Please note that a reasonable level of fitness is required as you will be climbing on and off the train at some locations. Suitable clothing and footwear is also required.
