Join us for a big Spring Clean on the Weardale Railway on Sunday 12th April 2026.

 

The train will leave Bishop Auckland West Station at 11.00am and head up to Stanhope with several stops along the way to collect litter.

Anyone wishing to join us from any of the stations along the line towards Bishop Auckland please tick the box at checkout and the train will stop to pick you up.

All equipment will be provided.

All participants must register for a FREE ticket to ride on this train.

​​

Please note that a reasonable level of fitness is required as you will be climbing on and off the train at some locations. Suitable clothing and footwear is also required.
