Railcar Running Day

Departing Stations:

Stanhope, Frosterley, Kingfisher Halt, Wolsingham, Witton-le-Wear, Bishop Auckland West (please see timetable for intermediate stops as these vary)

This day will see an extended service between Stanhope and Bishop Auckland featuring the visiting NER Autocar set and Class 122 'Bubble Car' DMU, which returns to traffic following a period of extensive overhaul.

Services are timed to connect with Northern Rail trains at Bishop Auckland. Ticket prices are for all day travel. Please see special timetable below. Note that the Class 122 is only running between Stanhope and Wolsingham. Online tickets are available to and from Stanhope and Bishop Auckland. For intermediate stations you may pay on the train.
