The Weardale Railway has teamed up with Durham Gin Distillery and Weardale Cheese to bring you a relaxed afternoon travelling through Weardale.
Board the train at Bishop Auckland West station and enjoy a leisurely journey alongside the River Wear to Stanhope, whilst enjoying and learning about Durham Gin and Weardale Cheese from the experts talking about their products.
The offer includes a welcome cocktail, three Gin & Tonics and a selection of Weardale Cheese served with crackers.
The whole trip lasts for about three hours.
Please note that due to our seating configuration of 4 at a table, you may be seated with another party.
Rolling Stock:
The Gin & Cheese trains will be hauled using Class 31 locomotives and our recently refurbished Mk3 coaches.
