The Weardale Railway has teamed up with the award winning George Samuel Brewery in Shildon and Top Notch Egg Company in West Pelton to bring you a relaxed afternoon travelling through Weardale.
Board the train at Bishop Auckland West station and enjoy a leisurely journey alongside the River Wear to Stanhope, whilst enjoying some of the county's best food and drink.
You will have the opportunity to sample to different scotch eggs (flavours will be made available nearer the time) and four different ales.
The whole trip lasts for about three hours.
Please note that due to our seating configuration of 4 at a table, you may be seated with another party.
Rolling Stock:
The Beer & Scotch trains will be hauled using Class 31 locomotives and our recently refurbished Mk3 coaches.
