Stanhope Station Café Awarded 5 Stars!

We are delighted to report that the popular No. 40 Café at Stanhope Station has been awarded a 5-star rating following a recent premises inspection by Durham County Council's food standards officers. Our thanks go to Carol and all the staff in the café who have done a fantastic job since we restarted our heritage service in May.

The café is open whenever trains are running, serving tea, coffee and delicious snacks, pies, home-baked cakes and freshly prepared sandwiches. And ice creams! There is indoor seating available and covered seating on the platform.
