War on the Line 2012: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July

 

 Once again this major event is jointly organised by The Weardale Railway Trust & Weardale Railways CIC
The Northern World War II Association (see their website here)
Durham Tees Valley Area Military Vehicles Trust (see their website here)

This year sees the event extend along the entire line from Stanhope to Bishop Auckland.

Pack your rations and board the train, back to the 1940’s. Re-enactments, military vehicles, memorabilia, vintage clothing and fashion show. A 1940’s dance (Saturday evening). Train times will alter for this event - please check before travelling.
