February 19	Visiting railtour from King's Cross	A 12 coach rake will be topped and tailed by class 67 diesel locos. The scheduled timings are: arrive Stanhope 15.15 and depart Stanhope 15.40
February 27	Visiting railtour from Crewe	A 12 coach rake will be topped by a pair of class 37s and tailed by a class 47. The scheduled timings are: arrive Stanhope 13.16 and depart Stanhope 13.50
March 14	Mother's Day	A special treat for Mum - bring her along and treat her to a delicious cream tea on the train .... homemade cakes, sandwiches and cream scones served at your table .... "first class" .... and children, visit the waiting room and make Mum a special card for her special day.
April 2 - 5 April 4	Easter Weekend Classic Car Rally	Easter Bunny Hunt each day. Cream Teas served on the train. A display of classic vehicles arriving at Stanhope Station from noon.
May 30	Teddy Bears Picnic	Children bring your teddy along for a free ride on the train. Enjoy music and children's entertainment at Stanhope Station. Specially prepared picnic bags for sale on the train or bring your own. (Bring your own rugs). Heritage coaches and class 73 diesel in use on some runs.                    Special timetable here.
June 20	Father's Day & Big Boys' Toys	Bring Dad along and view the commercial vehicles on display at the stations.                   Special timetable here.
July 11	Classic Car Rally	Meet the "motor-stars" of film and TV .... of Life on Mars, Heartbeat and The Royal.                    Special timetable here.
August 15	Morris Minor Rally & Charity Day	The Morris Minor was 60 years old in 2008. Come and see the many and varied examples of this classic vehicle. Local charity stalls and displays.
September 18/19	War on the Line	Our annual return to the 1940's. Military vehicles, dioramas, re-enactments and 1040's Dance. Visitors encouraged to wear period costume. Buy Dance tickets online here.
Nov 27 - Dec 24	Santa Specials	Enjoy the seasonal festivities. Join one of our special trains at Wolsingham to take a magical journey to visit Santa in his grotto. Entertainment and seasonal fayre. Pre-booking essential. School groups welcome.
Dec 26 - Jan 3	Mince Pie Specials	Enjoy a scenic train ride in the company of our superb seasonal pies!
