Commercial Manager
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and development of all commercial activities, including training and rostering of all commercial staff, stock control, and ensuring all catering activities meet safety and hygiene requirements.
Reports:
Shop Supervisors, Catering Supervisors.
Marketing Manager
Responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing an updated marketing plan, including procurement of promotional material, advertising and maximum media exposure. Liaison with local and regional tourism bodies, strategies and initiatives.
Reports: Press Liaison
Volunteer Coordinator
Responsible for recruiting suitable volunteers, to match the needs of the Company with individual aspirations, including monitoring the introduction of volunteers into departmental teams and receipt of appropriate training.
Safety Officer – reporting to the Safety Director and General Manager
Responsible for monitoring all company activities to ensure compliance with all statutory and company regulations and safety procedures, that all staff are trained and competent for the roles which they are undertaking, and that all documentation and records are in order. To support the Management Team by providing safety documentation and expertise as necessary.
Reports: Company Medical Officer
Duty Managers (6)
Responsible for overseeing the safe operation of company activities on a day to day basis, including ensuring adequate supervision of work teams, induction training for all new staff before starting work, overseeing and out of hours control of the railway, managing incidents, immediate liaison with other members of the management team and specialist advisors as necessary.
Reports: All staff on duty, including Controllers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
